According to the formula: I=U/R (Current= Voltage/impedance), the voltage of your power supply divided by the signal impedance is the max. current that generated by the signal receiving terminal.
Besides, there is impedance with this current generator, so the formula should be the voltage of power supply / (the signal impedance of the device+ the impedance of the current generator)= output constant current
Since the voltage range of power supply of this product is 4-35V, if the practical voltage of the power supply is low and the impedance of the device is high, the product cannot provide enough constant current.
Here are the signal matching demands of this product:
When the power supply is 24V, the signal impedance cannot be more than 1000ohm.
