Thank you for choosing Appalachian Emporium's Live reindeer lichen. It is a member of the cladonia genus and grows in low, bushy clumps. It is commonly known as reindeer moss and can be used to add color and texture to your terrariums, fairy gardens or moss gardens. This lichen can be dried out, and then become nice and flexible again when watered. The color will vary from a light green/gray to a more white color, but will be similar to what is pictured. You will receive 1 bag full, approximately 2-3 pieces. The bag measures 6 1/2" x 3 1/2". A nice amount to add some variety to your project. Cleaned and neatly packed. All moss is harvested from our own private tract of land here in TN. We do not buy our moss from other sources like some sellers do.
