Before installing laminate, vinyl, LVT, engineered wood or parquet floors - an installation of an underlayment is essentially needed. Not only for sound insulation, but also for protecting your floor from damages or even to level or compensate unevenness on the subfloor.

The STEICO Wood Underlayment is the perfect product for multiply needs.

It protects the click-lock system of the flooring, which makes the floor more durable and longer-lasting. The Wood Underlayment is 100% natural and recyclable; VOC, formaldehyde, glue, toxic emissions free. It is made using Binder-Lignin (Wood-Tar), can absorb moisture up to 20% of its weight and dry after without loss of properties, it is called Water Vapor Open System and it is not only reducing circumstances for mold growth but regulating micro-climate! Wood fibre boards are very easy and fast to install. It reduces sound transmission and improves acoustics of the room.
