Why Have You Forsaken Me? is a story about Gabriela Fox, a mother and professional Latina lady who is faced with many challenges while she also copes with bipolar illness. Her disorder began at a young age when she was sexually abused and was threatened to be possessed by an evil spirit if she identified her abuser. As she grew up, not only did she face the daily depression following her abuse, but also she dealt with a controlling mother and an unsupportive relationship that put her on the verge of suicide. Everybody has ups and downs but can an emotional imbalance keep you from reaching your potential?
