Sensor Stick Human Conductivity Energy Stick

Description

The sensor stick allows you to experience the science of electricity and circuits first hand. Place one hand around the silver bar at the top and bottom, and the LED lights will flash as the buzzer makes noise. Why does this happen? Because you closed the circuit, allowing the small electrical current generated by your body flow from one hand, through the Sensor Stick, and to the other hand. You are now a human circuit. If you take away one hand, the circuit is open again and the electricity stops. It is completely safe to use, as the sensing circuits are capable of detecting even the tiniest amount of electricity that is travelling across your skin, and the lights and buzzer going off let you know that you've completed the circuit. You can even add in a few friends between you and the other end of the Sensor Stick. How big of a chain of people can you make? The back of the package gives an explanation of what is happening, as well as provides some basic terminology about electricity. The Sensor Stick measures approximately 6.75" in length, and has a diameter of 1.5".
