Description

This wireless thermostat links to the wired Insteon Thermostat to provide convenient access to temperature no matter where you are in the home. Put it in the master bedroom, in the basement, in the guest room--anywhere you want room-specific, customized temperature control. You can add up to two Insteon Wireless Thermostats to your Insteon Thermostat. The Wireless Thermostat can also be used independantly of the wired Insteon Thermostat when you want to create custom solutions. For example, the Wireless Thermostat can be linked to Insteon On/Off modules for controlling space heaters when it gets too cold, exhaust fans to help reduce humidity and more. Wireless range of up to 100ft and powered by two AA batteries. Optional 5V power adapter (#42355) can be added to provide "always on" power (sold separately). External probe input is available for applications where you want to measure water temperature or outdoor temperature. Probe sold separately (#2433A3).
