Description

Everflow Teflon Tape is an inexpensive and effective way of sealing pipe threads joined togther for plumbing jobs. It can be used to seal water, air and gas from leaking through threaded connections. Commonly known as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), many plumbers use teflon tape due to the strength that is designed to coat the threads of pipes to create a tighter seal. PTFE tapes is weather resistance and has an extremely flexible working temperature range.

Teflon tape purposes is to make a better seal between plumbing parts. When applying teflon tape in a clockwise direction, keep on applying until it is snug. Teflon tape comes in a number of different sizes of width and length. Usually the 3/4 inch tape used by professional plumbers varies, it is the most versatile. Raven teflon tape was designed to be small enough for little repairs, but wide enough to repair longer tubes. This tape is effective in temperatures from -450F to 500F (-268C to +520C) and pressures up to 10,000 PSI.
