Question: Will it work with a surefire G2?
Answer: It should if it is 30 mm.
Question: on the internal diameter. is it 30mm seated or with a slight gap? And does u need spacers to fit 1 inch tubes
Answer: Internal is 30mm. You would need a spacer like tape around the light if it is 1 inch.
