This kit DOES NOT include backing panel or front (clear) panels! The side loading black frame molding kit assembles quickly and easily - no tools required. An excellent and extremely versatile choice for virtually any picture framing requirement. Whether for a low cost poster frame (adding a cardboard back and plastic front panel) or an archival frame (acid free backing with anti-glare/UV filtering glass) the precision fit and finish ensures professional results! The molding kit works with many panel types including corrugated, matboard, foam core, hardboard, MDF, glass, acrylic etc. The moldings will accommodate a TOTAL maximum thickness (all panels + artwork) of 1/4 inch. The moldings feature precision extruded and cut plastic moldings with a co-bonded mylar film surface and high precision corner miters. Virtually indistinguishable from aluminum moldings.
