Inspired by traditional Chinese ink and wash painting, our indigo dye pillows are originally designed combining classic oriental elements and contemporary minimalism. 100% handmade and plant-dyed, the fabrics show perfectly the subtle effects of natural layering and gradation. The pillowcase, made of linen, one of the oldest fiber used in East Asia, is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. Slight variations and imperfections in color and pattern of the handmade and plant-dyed pillowcase may exist. We consider this to be part of the beauty of craftsmanship. We will check carefully each of these pillowcases, making sure there is no major pattern or color differences. Washing instruction This product was handmade using plant dyes without chemicals. The colors are designed to fade slightly after wash. Before first wash, soak the product in a solution of salt and water at room temperature for 30 minutes to set colors. Do not machine wash. Hand wash separately with mild soap. Do not wring dry. Cool iron only. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
