HOW IT WORKS
The In-Ground Dog Fence System is works with a combination of training and technology. A buried wire will establish a containment boundary for your pet, and transmit a harmless radio signal from the indoor radio transmitter to the wireless receiver in your dog's collar. When your dog approaches the boundary-warning zone, the radio signal will cause the dog's collar receiver to deliver a warning sound. If the dog continues to move closer to the perimeter, the system will issue a mild electric shock, similar to static electricity. The closer your dog gets to the boundary, the more intense the correction will be. (Don't worry, though - it will not hurt your dog.) Even the most stubborn dog will naturally learn to avoid the correction and stay within the established boundary.
