From its humble beginnings as Pilkington & Wilson Shipbrokers in the 1840s, White Star grew to be the most famous shipping line of the 20th century, with the most biggest and most luxurious ships on the transatlantic route - notably the 'big three', Olympic, Titanic and Britannic. Using photographs and ephemera, this book tells the Story of the White Star Line and its ships up to 1934, when it merged with Cunard.
