Important info: Not oven or dishwasher safe When using on: Gas stoves, use medium heat. Electric stoves, use a medium to high setting. Ceramic top stoves, use a low to medium setting. DO NOT use high setting Place the tea kettle on the center of the stove burner. Make sure to remove the plastic spout cover before use. When empty, do not put the kettle on the heating/ burning stove. Always use a pot holder or glove when removing the lid from the hot tea kettle/ when holding down the lid while pouring from the tea kettle. Use only dishwashing liquid, water & a non-abrasive sponge or dishcloth to clean. DO NOT use any abrasive sponges to clean. Remove any discoloration that may occur after repeated use by rubbing the kettle with lemon juice. If water is left in the tea kettle for an extended period of time, rust may appear. To remove rust stains and mineral deposits, fill kettle with water, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, and half a lemon's juice, and boil for approximately 4 - 5 minutes."
