Product Introduction Water is pumped in to the filter via your pond pump when the filtration process starts.
Firstly the mechanical stage collects the larger waste debris in coarse and fine filter foams.
The 2nd stage is the biological stage, this is located at the bottom of the filter and comes in the form of bio balls.
These bio balls provide a habitat for benificial filter bacteria to grow for removing the harmful toxins from the water.
Finally the water is passed over a UV clarifier to kill algae before being returned to the pond.
