Description

16GB DDR3L-1333 SO-DIMM memory module (single stick), 204 Pin, supports 1.35V and 1.5V operation. This module has been tested on various laptops/notebooks/ultrabooks and NUCs utilizing the new Intel Broadwell (5th generation) processors which have been released in 2015, such as Lenovo X250, W550, T450s, Intel NUC, Gigabyte Brix and many others. However, some laptops - for example Dell E7450 - are not able to detect these 16GB memory-modules and will not boot, although the processor is already a 5th generation model. This problem originates from missing 16GB-module support in the laptop-manufacturers BIOS. Important note: To find out if your system has a 5th generation CPU, please look at the Intel CPU-code. For example a CPU code i7-5600U relates to a 5th generation CPU. On the other hand i7-4700MQ refers to 4th generation and will not be upgradable with 16GB memory modules.
