After spending years in the corporate sector abroad, Metad's current manager Aman Adinew returned to Ethiopia with the goal of making a difference for his family and community. With Adinew at the helm, METAD has strengthened the local community with employment and healthcare opportunities. METAD's workforce is over 70 percent female and healthcare is provided for employees. METAD also sponsors a state-of-the-art elementary school with more than four hundred students.
