French Press coffee is said by some to be some of the most delicious and authentic way to enjoy hot brewed coffee. Without any strong paper filters, you can enjoy all of the intricate flavors and oils that seeping coffee grounds can produce.
BonJour's Maximus French Press combines classic beauty with revolutionary innovation. Traditional french presses use a plunger mechanism with a screen that allows you to push the coffee grounds down to the base of the press when youre ready to pour and enjoy the coffee. However, unless you're going to drink all of the coffee at once, the remaining liquid continues to brew and sometimes can taste stronger or bitter than that first cup.
With the patented Flavor Lock filter system, once you have brewed your coffee to the strength you desire, you simply turn the plunger top to close off the grounds at the bottom of the press. Its simple and perfects french press brewing. The Maximus French Press also features a patented screen that filters out any sediment or coffee grounds as you pour into your cup. Nobody likes a "dirty" cup of coffee!
