The Dranetz/Gossen Metrawatt M249AKIT1 is the Metrahit Energy Handheld Digital Multimeter Kit for Power and Energy Measurement with USB Interface and MetraWin 10. The Metrahit Energy is a handheld digital multimeter with more than 35 different measuring functions including voltage and current (DC and TRMS AC and AC/DC), frequency, resistance, diode, temperature, power, energy and power quality, data logger and IR interface, for industrial electrical testing applications. True root mean square (TRMS) measurement can be taken up to 100 kHz. The LCD has a resolution of 60,000 digits, triple display, with display illumination, if needed. Safety features include overload protection up to 600V, intermittent acoustic alarm for voltages greater than 600V/currents greater than 10 amp, continuous alarm for currents above 16 amp, and visual indicator of contact voltages of greater than 30V and direct voltages of greater than 35V. The Metrahit Energy can store up to 300,000 measurements. In addition to the multimeter, this kit comes with three safety measurement cables and 4 mm test probes, 1,000V CAT III, and 600V CAT IV; a rubber holster; a USB interface and the MetraWin 10 PC Software; and a Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD) calibration certificate. This multimeter is Ingress Protection certified IP52 and meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010-1 and is certified for Category III installations up to 1,000V and Category IV installations up to 600V.
