Description

In the Far North (and South) the aurora (borealis in the North or australis in the South) lights up the sky in amazing, ever-undulating red, blue, and green hues. One theory is that a constant flow of ions from the sun is attracted to Earth's magnetic poles, where their collisions create incredible colors. It's a sight few of us get to see, until now. Using two discs and multicolor LEDs that operate in eight different light modes, this projector recreates that awe-inspiring sight, with movement that's so cosmic it can also double as a soothing, moving, natural nightlight. Takes 3 AA batteries (not included). For ages 6 and up. Dimensions: Approx. 7" x 5" x 4".
