Contour Lock ™ by Rug Pad USA is your solution for sliding or shifting rugs where clearance may be required for doors or where one does not wish to raise the surface under the rug. Will add cushioning underfoot and works especially well runners and rugs of all sizes. Solid style felt and natural rubber rug padding offers a higher level of protection and comfort than some of the traditional open weave style rug padding with the same light weight concealable, easily handleable qualities of these pads. Dense 15oz sq/yd and 15oz natural rubber heat pressed and needle punched to a compact but comfortable 1/8" pile. Natural rubber provides a secure surface to counter any slipping hazards while the heat pressed felt fibers lock with the rug's backing and together it stops the rug from shifting or buching and wrinkling. The pad will catch any dirt or contaminants that fall through the rug to stop them from reaching the floor and working into the floor's finish when the rug shifts.
