This Flexcut Double Bevel Sloyd Hook Knife features a double-sided blade with a square, sharpened end. The hook knife is ideal for carving spoons, bowls, ladles and other deep hollowed work. Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of carving. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished.
