Description

This is a combo pack that contains 3 of each of our Crystal Red Shrimp and Crystal Black Shrimp.

This pack is perfect for small aquariums, and each of these varieties of shrimp can live in the same parameter. Their beautiful red/white and black/white coloration makes these two of the most popular and sought after shrimp in the world! These will interbreed to create both red/white and black/white offspring - it's a roll of the dice each time they breed!

These shrimp are A-S grade, meaning the intense coloration covers most to all of the body. Higher grades of Crystal Red and Crystal Black Shrimp actually have more white coverage and less black coverage, and can be very difficult to keep as they are much more sensitive than these. A-S grade CRS and CBS are the best starting point for anyone that wants to keep these varieties of shrimp, and I personally think the A-S grade shrimp are the most beautiful because they have equal amounts of red/white and black/white.

RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS:
- pH level range: 6.2 - 6.8
- Temperature range: 70 - 78 F
- Water type: Soft
- Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), various types of snails (such as Nerite Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish.
- Additional notes: A bit more difficult to care for than other dwarf shrimp types - we recommend sticking VERY closely to the recommended tank parameters. Dwarf shrimp prefer to live in tanks with live aquatic plants (such as java moss, willow hygro, green cabomba, etc.). This is because dwarf shrimp like the cover that plants provide, they love to graze on the plants for algae, and the plants help keep the water clean for them.
