Description

The DELTA 46-490 Ball Bearing Center for Wood Lathes comes with double-row, sealed, lubricated-for-life bearings to take exceptionally heavy radial and thrust loads and for husky and true running with no chatter. With a number two Morse taper to fit standard wood lathe tailstocks, this ball bearing center comes with three replaceable centers and a wrench. The Flat interchangeable center tip is designed to wedge your material between the headstock and the tailstock without marring it and still allowing it to rotate. It is used when only minimal pressure is to be applied, and you dont want to damage the product by using a pointed or cupped center and the holding power is provided by the headstock.
