To achieve the best, professional-looking results, you will need a few specific tools: a mandrel & anvil or crimping pliers (NOT INCLUDED.)

Easy Step by Step Instructions:

1. Locate the area of work by marking its position with a circle the size of the eyelet's inner ring.
2. Cut out a hole in the center of the marking with the saddler's punch. For a proper fit, the hole punched should be no larger than the eyelet's inner size.
3. Insert eyelet by pushing it through the visible (or "right") side of the fabric. Part of the eyelet is now protruding out on the other side of the fabric.
4. Use the washer to cover the back of the protruding eyelet and snap right into place by pressing down firmly.
5. Use pliers (NOT INCLUDED), place in the center of the eyelet after ensuring both the eyelet and the washer are aligned.
6. Squeeze firmly on the pliers' handles to secure the eyelet into place.
