Description

Smoke Ring BBQ Pellets are made from six species of wood. All six are 100% that species. Those are Apple, Cherry, Maple, Oak, Beach and Hickory. In addition we make 3 two species blends which are always a 50/50 blend and 3 three species blends which are always 33% each. So if your ordering our Hickory/Maple blend it's 50% of each species. Our competition will say " Cherry Blend" or "Oak Blend" but we found out that you actually have no idea what the blend is. It could it be 30% Cherry and 70% filler wood. Most of our competitors that have entered the BBQ market use the same dies that they use for the heating market. The dies used in the heating market make a " diameter pellet. We found that although that size works well in a pellet stove, the augers in a pellet grill are not as robust so we decide to invest in a die specifically for the BBQ Market. Our pellets are 7/32" diameter which reduces the chance of auger jams. The reason why so many competition teams and restaurants use our pellets is they know exactly what they're buying.
