Because of the minimal amount of voltage applied, the OTV6 will not shock the user, but users may feel a very slight tingling on the surface of the skin if held in place for more than a few seconds. For safety, a 6.9KHZ tone is activated when the device is turned on to alert the user that the device is active. NOTE: As this is an electric lice comb, do not use the device with wet or damp hair.
