Description

TotalBoat 5:1 Traditional Epoxy Resin is suitable for a wide range of boatbuilding and repair jobs. For laminating and layups, this low-viscosity epoxy resin is favored for its thin- film characteristics and its ease in wetting out fiberglass and other composite fabrics. It forms high-strength, dependable bonds with fiberglass, reinforcement fabrics, wood, etched aluminum, bare steel, and lead. For an even stronger adhesive or filleting and fairing compound, add fillers to TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Resin. Once cured, resin can be sanded and shaped.

Use TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Resin with TotalBoat 5:1 Fast or Slow Hardeners, or with other traditional 5 to 1 ratio marine epoxy systems. For larger applications or when working in warmer conditions where extended pot life is desired, use TotalBoat Tropical Extra Slow Hardener. For clear-coating applications, use TotalBoat Crystal Clear Hardener. Resin only, all hardeners are sold separately. Comparable to Entropy, MAS, System Three, 0100A and West System 105A. All TotalBoat marine products are developed by boaters for boaters, to provide great value and great results.
