The 2017 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set contains two folders of 10 coins each, one with coins from the United States States Mint at Denver and the other with coins from the United States Mint at Philadelphia, for a total of 20 coins in uncirculated quality.

United States Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image. The coins are sealed in blisters and displayed in folders.

The 2017 edition of the United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set features the following coins in each folder:

Honoring Effigy Mounds National Monument in Iowa, Frederick Douglass National Historic Site in Washington D.C., Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri, Ellis Island in New Jersey, and George Rogers Clark National Historic Park in Indiana

* (1) Native American $1 Coin
Reverse (tails side) design depicts a profiled likeness of Sequoyah writing "Sequoyah from Cherokee Nation" in syllabary along the border of the design.

* (1) Kennedy half-dollar

* (1) Roosevelt dime

* (1) Jefferson five-cent coin

* (1) Lincoln cent - "P" mintmark is on the penny in the "Philadelphia" folder.
