Description

Premium truck bed extender from Direct Aftermarket provides convenient additional hauling capacity to your vehicle. Extender is great for hauling many different types of cargo such as lumber, ladders, pipes, canoes, or any other items. Constructed of weather resistant epoxy powder coated steel, this unit can support up to 750 pounds with the weight evenly distributed. The bracket supports cargo at a distance of approximately 4 feet from the hitch. The bracket arms are adjustable (using the easy open wire lock pins) in one inch increments from approximately 28 inches to 48 inches in width. The height can be raised in one inch increments from approximately 14 inches to 20 inches above the hitch mount. This hitch extender is also able to support cargo extending past the roof rack of a van or SUV by mounting the bracket vertically. Compatible with Class III or IV trailer hitch and requires a 2" square hole (NOTE: hitch pin not included). Reflective tape is pre-installed on the front, back, and both sides. This unit also includes a bright red flag that easily attaches to the bracket to designate an extended load. Assembly is quick and easy. Includes: adjustable bracket, red flag, and assembly hardware.
