Description

The 838AR-P carbon conductive pen is a conductive, fast drying paint in a convenient pen format. It quickly and easily creates conductive traces that are durable, reliable, and corrosion resistant. It adheres to a wide variety of substrates. The paint is a tough acrylic polymer pigmented with high purity Carbon black. The Carbon black imparts superior corrosion resistance as well as high conductivity. This product works best on smooth, flat, and hard surfaces. It has a Valve tip that opens when the pen is pressed against the surface to be drawn on and it has a soft tube, so the flow may be controlled by squeezing the center of the pen. It is used to draw resistors and connect grounds in prototyping, hobbies, or Maker projects. It can be used to create traces where a higher resistance connection is desired such as when drawing in jumpers or other simple electrical connections. It is good for restoring conductivity to contact surfaces and extending contact areas. Use it as an economical alternative to nickel or silver paints where extreme conductivity is not required. Attention! shake rigorously before use. For best results hold pen at angle, depress pen tip against surface, and draw pen across surface while gently squeezing middle.
