The bulb size is the same regardless of voltage, you will not be able to tell the voltage by looking at the bulb. The original packaging/box for your string lights or manual is the best source for instructions on replacing burned out bulbs. Some string lights may print voltage on the tag near the power plug. Counting the number of bulbs in one string will usually tell you which voltage is required.
