Each of the individual pill compartments is approximately 1 x 3/4 x 1/4 inch deep. Uses 1 AAA battery for the vibrating function, 3 commonly available coin cells for the clock. Economy grade coin cells are included, (AG13), the AAA battery is not. We recommend changing the coin cells right away, and the item is sold as "batteries not included".
