Unbox your Travelscratches scratch map by separating the tube packaging. Slide the map out of the tube, all accessories are safely packed inside a small bag which is inside the tube as well!
Unroll your map and take off the scratch prevent protected paper layer on top. TIP: Frame up your scratch off map to get the best experience!
Next, open your accessories bag and take out your scratching tool and magnifier. Use the magnifier to see the smaller countries and US states better. Use your Travelscratches scratching tool to scratch off the top layer. It will reveal great vibrant colors underneath to reveal where you have been in the world!

YES, if you travel around in the United States and only want to scratch off individual states, that's possible!

What frame should I buy for this Scratch Map from Travelscratches?
The map has an exact size of 32.95 inches x 23.8 inches. The map has an outer dotted line, this area is used to clamp into the frame. We recommend buying a standard 23 x 32 Inch frame which will cover the dotted line and clamp the map perfectly, without glass of course :)

How many country flags are there at the bottom?
There are 208 country flags at the bottom which are also scratchable.

Does the map have a glossy finish?
Yes, the ocean and land have a vibrant color glossy finish. The scratch material has a gold matte finish which is easy to scratch off but not easy enough to get damaged.

What information is displayed under the logo?
The colors of the ocean and land have different tints and exposures. Each tint or exposure level corresponds to an altitude or depth. Now you know how deep the deepest points are in the ocean and how high you have been in certain areas!

Does the text on the scratch layer still display underneath when you scratch it off?
Yes it does :) Every line and text is still displayed underneath the scratch layer. Have a look at the country flags, they have amazing details on the scratch layer as well. Once scratched off, it will reveal the country flags with the proper colors.
