The American Educational 7-850250 250mL Bomex glass separatory funnel has a PTFE stopcock and is used to separate two liquids with different densities. The conical shape ensures that the highest density liquid is dispensed. Bomex borosilicate glass construction has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and is resistant to thermal stress. The PTFE stopcock does not require greasing.
