This muslin straining bag has hundreds of uses around the kitchen and home. It is ideal for filtering liquids and removing solids and other impurity. The perfect size mesh is very easy to get pure liquid without any pulp or particles getting through. And thanks to its heavy duty, it also can be used to strain cooked vegetables, salads, soups and puddings.

The bag can be used to filter hot liquid and boiled for a long time.

Some tips:
When the bag comes out of the package, it is a flat rectangle. The specifications of size is the length and width of the rectangle. So twice the width is the circumference of the bag mouth. Take the 21.65 "x 15.75" bag for example, it has an opening about 31.5" (15.75" x 2) in circumference.
Choose the bag according to the container currently using. Usually the diameter (or circumference more precisely) of the container determines the size of the bag. Take a standard 1 gallon bucket for example, it typically has a diameter of around 8" and its circumference is 25.13". The 21.65 "x 15.75" filter bag is 31.5"(15.75" x 2) in circumference, so could try it. Of course, the thickness of the container is also important that it directly determines the maximum opening diameter.
