Description

Created and designed by Jenny McLaughlan in 2010 to provide a modern solution to the age-old problem of teething. Inspired by her son and his painful teething experience Jenny thought it would be practical to always have a teether to hand. So she set about creating a range of stylish pieces of jewellery that looked great for mum, but would relieve baby teething troubles. These necklaces also make great nursing necklaces to help wandering hands have something to focus their attention on, as well as the perfect partner for babywearing. GUMIGEM is a UK based family run business. Made from 100% medical grade silicone, so is soft and flexible. All our items are rigorously tested and you can have peace of mind that they are free from all nasty's. They are totally non-toxic, BPA, lead latex and phthalate free. GUMIGEM pendants can be removed from the cord and can easily be washed by hand with warm, soapy water or placed in a steam steriliser or the top shelf of the dishwasher. Our other necklaces can be washed by hand with soap and water or ran through the dishwasher for appropriate cleaning. With a breakaway clasp to provide an extra measure of security to mum and baby (the clasp should not be chewed). Our products make great baby shower gifts for an expected mother or can be used as a creative way to announce a new pregnancy to girlfriends, sisters or grandmothers that will also care for the baby! GUMIGEM . for mum to wear and baby to enjoy! Please note - necklaces and pendants are only to be interacted with by the baby when worn by an adult. They have a long cord and pose a strangulation risk, so must not be left alone with a baby and always worn by the adult - they are NOT toys.
