Description

The Vestil SSKT-3 steerable machinery skate has a swivel top plate, a pulling bar, and four nylon rollers, and can be used to move heavy equipment and machinery. The machinery skate is made of steel, which is stronger and more durable than aluminum. A swivel top plate and pulling bar help enable the skate to be maneuvered around turns and corners. A rubber surface helps prevent loads from slipping. The four rollers are made of nylon to help prevent marks or scratches to floors. This product has a uniform static load capacity of 3 tons, weighs 31 pounds, and measures 4 x 10 x 12-1/4 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This machinery skate is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.

Hand trucks, also known as two-wheeled dollies, are used to transport heavy or bulky items, especially in commercial product distribution and delivery. Hand trucks are L-shaped, with handles at the top, two wheels at the bottom, and a small platform that touches the ground when the truck is upright. A load is placed on the platform and the truck is leaned back, balancing the weight over the wheels. Powered hand trucks have a platform that lifts the load up, or lowers it down, to reduce human labor. Some hand trucks may be convertible to platform trucks for moving large or cumbersome loads. Others fold flat for storage.

Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.
