Description

Topps produced a classic look in 1962 with the clever wood grain motif behind a peeling photo. These cards, nicknamed 'woodies', were extremely puzzling to collectors at the time but are now recognized as a classic issue and an especially difficult issue to find in high grade. The set features rookies of Lou Brock, Gaylord Perry and Joe Torre and also features a sizable number of variations, including cards 110-196 which may be found with green tint photos. The Babe Ruth and the high number Rookie Parade subsets are also highly valued among collectors.

This vintage card featuring Babe And Huggins is #137 from the 1962 Topps Baseball set. Ruth was one of the five original HOF entries. His career batting and pitching records make a strong case for his being the greatest player of all time. Amazingly, Babe's career average of .341 also ranks among the best in the game. Ruth was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1936.

The card has an overall grade of VG/EX (4 out of 10)
