LEATHER
The journal is made out of 100% vegetable tanned Horween Essex leather. This type of leather is smooth to the touch and very supple. But that does not mean that it is not durable. This leather is full grain, which means that it has not been altered in a way that weakens it's fibers or structure. It is the outermost leather of the hide, which is the strongest and most durable.
This leather is made to last for generations. Vegetable tanned leather by nature is made more beautiful over time as it ages and patinas.
